The Cleveland Council on World Affairs hosted an international visitor delegation through the U.S. State Department for a program called "Children in the U.S. Justice System". This delegation is made up of 7 visitors and 1 liaison for their time in Cleveland. This group is part of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
While in Cleveland, the State Department requested to connect with Child and Family Advocates of Cuyahoga County. CFACC was pleased to welcome these 8 visitors on May 16 at the Juvenile Justice Center. The visitors met with program staff to learn about the work of CASAs, GALs, and how our mission assists children who have been at-risk or abused and neglected.
