Become a GAL

To become a Guardian ad litem for the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, attorneys must attend New Guardian ad Litem Training (pre-service training), which the Guardian ad Litem Project offers. New GAL Training will be announced shortly. We hold this training cooperatively with the Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court.

Once an attorney completes New Guardian ad Litem Training, the attorney must submit an
Guardian ad Litem Application to the Guardian ad Litem Project.

Help Make a Foster Child's Holiday a Little Brighter!

Donate now and a portion of your gift will go to providing toys, books, craft materials and winter coats, hats, boots and gloves to kids in need!
There are currently more than 3,500 children served by the GALs and CASAs on abuse, neglect and dependency cases within the Juvenile Court.
During the holiday season, we hope to meet holiday wishes for about 150 of these children who are selected by their GALs and CASAs. Their needs are great, and they are likely not to receive many other gifts during the holidays.
Thank you!
